The Isle of Wight is home to a highly developed boat building industry. It makes luxury and commercial boats for clients as far afield as Australia and China. The sailing town of Cowes is known throughout the world. Contact started out in boatyards staffed by world class boat builders. It is where we learnt our trade. The standards of workmanship are extremely high. Contact is currently one of a handful of island-based electrical installation companies that offer a marine service.

We service the complete electrical needs of commercial fishing boats, angling boats and leisure boats.

We install 12/24 volt dc and 230 volt ac systems. Sourced from multiple supplies - including batteries, gensets shore supply and invertors - these systems meet all needs, including power, lighting and electrical features such as winches, capstans and windless motors.

We are able to connect and power up a range of engine types.

We install state of the art navigation and communication systems including Garmin, Raymarine and Furuno.

All works are carried out in accordance with British Marine Electronics Association Codes of Practise.
